2014 Championship football camp at Shawnee High School

REMINDER - THE 2014 CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL CAMP IS THIS MONDAY. REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO THE START OF CAMP

The camp, directed by Tim Gushue, Head Football Coach at Shawnee is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game to beginners, as well as, the experienced varsity athlete looking to hone his skills for the coming season. Athletes will be placed in small groups according to age, level of ability, and experience. Beginners will receive general instruction along with drills to master the necessary fundamentals of the game. Experienced athletes will be given advanced instruction and placed in controlled, competitive drills, in order to duplicate the situations most often encountered on the varsity playing field.

Director
Tim Gushue has coached football for thirty-three years at Shawnee High School, the past 31 as the head coach. He was named the Brooks-Irvine Coach of the Year in 1992, 2004 and was named the ’93,’98 & 2004 Coach of the Year by the Burlington County Times. In 2002 he was the Coach of The Year for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Courier Post and the NJFCA. The Renegades were Conference Champs in ’93, ’95, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2010. Since 1992, the Renegades have compiled a 146-55-1 record and have been to the NJSIAA Finals in ’95, ’96,’98, and 2000. The Renegades have won State Championships in 2002, 2004, 2007,2008 & 2013.

Walk In Registration This Weekend

The Medford Indians MYAA football program will be holding 'Walk In' registration this Friday and Saturday, June 13th and 14th at the Al Canale Field House at Hartford Crossing Sports Complex. Friday's hours are from 6pm - 9pm and Saturday from 9am - 12pm.

It is important that players are registered by this weekend as jerseys are being ordered for those that need them and numbers assigned to players next week.
