Players and parents who would like to learn more about youth football before committing to a full season can join us for the first two weeks of our August training sessions. Players will learn the basics of football starting with passing, receiving and running back skills. we then transition into teaching the basics of blocking and tackling using the Heads Up™ safe tackling program by USA Football®.
Select the 'August Training Sessions' when registering at to participate in free August Training sessions. Decide at anytime whether to formally join the Medford Indians Football family.

Frequently asked questions:
Q - When does football start? Practice starts on August 11th. The 70s (5-7yo) start practice August 18th.

Q - How often do you practice and when are games?During August practices are Mondays-Thursdays but once school begins we practice three days a week: Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00- 8:00. Games are generally on Saturdays or Sundays.

Q - Do I have to stay at all the practices? It is recommended that you stay at the practices, but it is not required.  If your younger child has difficulty getting in/ out of their equipment, then you would need to be at practice.
